Kenall performed geotechnical engineering and testing services for the design and analysis of the stock piled dirt from the Youth Study Center project located approximately 1100 ft. along the banks of Bayou St. John.
Our services addressed stockpiled soils, emplaced along 1,100 ft. of the banks of Bayou St. John. We drilled, sampled, and tested soil borings to determine stratigraphy and groundwater conditions and physical and engineering properties of subsurface soils, and to provide geotechnical design parameters. Our analyses were used in slope stability analysis for the existing banks of Bayou St. John, for guidelines for earthwork, and to develop recommendations for erosion control, site and subgrade preparation.
