Kenall is under a contract with USACE Fort Worth district to provide A-E services supporting the renovation of Building 5570 for temporary use as a Basic Military Training (BMT) dormitory swing space at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Building 5570, a 140,000 square foot building constructed in 1970 as a dormitory/dining facility, was later repurposed for office, training, and other functions. The planned renovations will convert the building back to dormitory space.
Kenall is reponsible for leading the development of a Design-Build RFP denoting all design/ construction/ performance requirements to provide a complete and useable facility. We are also responsible for the overall project management on this task oder.
