Kenall is under the contract with USACE Fort Worth district to analyze alternatives associated with deficiencies in seven dams at Fort Hood, Texas. Additional studies were needed based on phase 2 studies completed in 2016. These additional studies address rehabilitation, non-structural alternatives, decommissioning, and interim risk reduction measures.
Kenall’s scope includes project management; developing the design quality control plan; performing hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations; performing alternatives analyses including rehabilitation, decommissioning, non-structural alternative and interim risk reduction measures; developing the storm drainage and stormwater pollution prevention plan; performing geotechnical analysis; identifying the characteristics of all required existing utilities; and preparing construction cost estimates for the alternatives evaluated.
