Kenall delivered construction management and design services, including environmental site assessments, surveying, and geotechnical services, for two projects in the Houston Central Business District (12 blocks; 3,900 linear feet).
The projects included reconstruction of five lanes of concrete/asphalt pavement, construction/rehabilitation of the storm sewer system, replacement of utilities, landscape enhancements, and installation of new street lights and traffic signals. Work included installing 12-inch water line, and 12-inch and 18-inch wastewater lines, and new storm sewers, relieving 900 acres of flooding in downtown Houston.
Our services included complete engineering of water and wastewater line design, pavement/storm drainage design, environmental site assessment I and II, topographic and right-of-way survey, horizontal and vertical alignment, right-of-way map and descriptions; preliminary engineering report study and investigation, final construction drawings and specifications, preparation of cost estimates, assistance in bid phase, construction phase services and construction management.
