Kenall was retained to provide geotechnical services for the proposed Luce Bayou Interbasin Transfer Project on Texas 321 in Dayton, Texas. The project consisted of construction of new buildings, associated pavement and a detention pond. The purpose of the geotechnical study was to evaluate soil and groundwater conditions and to provide design and construction recommendations.
We installed and sampled soil borings to determine soil stratigraphy and groundwater conditions, performed laboratory test in accordance with ASTM methods, and developed geotechnical engineering analyses and construction recommendations for the buildings foundation and associated pavement and detention pond.
