Kenall performed geotechnical, environmental, geophysical investigations, as well as laboratory testing and analyses, for a National Priorities List (NPL) site in Texas City, TX. The project site was a reclamation, storage and disposal facility for waste oils and chemicals. In addition to field and laboratory investigations, the project scope included preparing ESA Phase I and Phase II documents, remedial investigations, RCRA facility investigations, feasibility studies and health and safety plans.
Our subsurface investigation was performed using direct push, coring and standard penetration testing, and we installed soils borings, monitoring wells and piezometers. Soil samples were tested for environmental contaminants. Provided design recommendations for the installation of slurry wall and support retaining structures.
