Kenall is under a contract with USACE Fort Worth district to provide A-E services associated with the development of Design-Bid-Build Requests for Proposal (DBB RFPs) for renovation of multiple buildings at Fort Sam Houston, TX (all or portions of Buildings 16, 44, 615, 2002, and 2006). The overall goal of the Task Order is to provide functional and comfortable office/administrative/operational facilities with a 25-year usable life, preserving historical features and designed for the humid southeastern Texas climate, and requiring only routine maintenance.
Kenall is responsible for the overall project management of this task order, including but not limited to, coordinating and leading the design charrette and review meetings; leading pre-design activities and site visits; reviewing and documenting existing conditions; providing structural and cost estimating support; leading the development of 35%/65%/95%/100% design submittals; performing QA/QC of all deliverables; supporting value engineering study; monthly reporting and invoicing; monitoring cost and schedule; providing construction phase services; and responding to bidder inquiries and RFIs.
